Woman killed in her LI home

Homicide detectives on Long Island are investigating the death of a woman inside her home.

Suffolk County police found the body of Elizabeth Hernandez, 33, in her house on Auborn Ave. in Shriley around 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.

They're investigating it as an apparent homicide.

The Suffolk County Medical Examiners Office will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crimes Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.  Police say that all tips will be kept confidential.
