CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

One woman was killed and another injured after their car crashed into two parked vehicles early Sunday in the Logan Square neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

Kassandra Castillo, 18, of Franklin Park died from her injuries at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center about 4:37 p.m., according to the Cook County Medical Examiner's office.

Castillo and another women were sitting in a parked vehicle and arguing with four people outside in the 3700 block of West Belden Avenue at 5:35 a.m., police News Affairs Officer Jose Estrada said.

One of the people –- two males and two females -- sprayed pepper spray into the vehicle, causing the two women to flee in the vehicle, which crashed into two parked cars, Estrada said.

It was not known if Castillo, of the 3300 block of Edington Street, was driving the car when it crashed. The other woman, 27, was taken in "stable" condition to Mount Sinai Hospital.

No one is in custody and Area North detectives are investigating.
