Hometown singers Sparks, Bentley return for Hotshot benefit concerts

In the coming days, musicians will share their talents in Prescott to raise money on behalf of the 19 fallen firefighters.

Valley girl Jordin Sparks proves once again that no matter where fame takes her, her heart stays in her home state.

The Glendale native and American Idol winner is set to perform at the Prescott Strong fundraiser happening from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday on Whiskey Row.

There will be local live music, food, shopping and beer.

The event is open to everyone, organizers just ask for a $5 donation.

Dierks Bentley, the man from Mesa, announced on his YouTube channel that he will headline the Country Cares concert at Tim's Toyota Center Monday.

"We're headed to Prescott, AZ to play a show to honor these 19 fallen firefighters that died out there in Arizona," said Bentley in the video.

In honor of the fallen heroes, Bentley is teaming up with Randy Houser, David Nail and The Band Perry.

The concert is sold out, but it's expected to raise thousands for the families of the fallen firefighters.
