Motorcyclist dies after clipping truck, losing control

Deputies say a motorcyclist died after clipping a truck and losing control near Usery Pass Road and Bush Highway on Saturday.

Maricopa County Sheriff's deputies say the motorcycle crossed a double yellow line, clipped a Forest Service Fire truck and lost control.

Witnesses told deputies the motorcyclist was driving above the speed limit.

The 60-year-old Chandler man was flown to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. Deputies say he was wearing a helmet.

The man's name hasn't been released.
