Lynn Seibel, the former Shattuck-St. Mary's teacher, pleaded guilty Friday to seven counts of sexually abusing students between 1999-2003.
During his time at Shattuck-St. Mary's, Seibel was both a drama teacher and in charge of supervising the dorms.
The abuse came to light last year when one of Seibel's victims confided in someone who reported the abuse to authorities.
A thorough investigation then revealed more victims, who reported being touched inappropriately by Seibel, and watching porn with him. In court Seibel also admitted he encouraged turning group showers into a dance party atmosphere.
The plea deal, which ensures his victims won't have to relieve their pain in a courtroom, calls for up to 52 months in prison.
Seibel will be sentenced in October.
