Olympian Jennie Finch to compete in NYC triathlon

Posted: Updated:
MYFOXNY.COM -

From the softball field to the roads and waters of New York City, Olympic gold medalist Jennie Finch is competing in the 2013 Aquaphor NYC Triathlon.

She spoke about what it takes to prepare to 1500m swim, 40k bike and 10k run in the race on Friday.

"The biking I'm nervous about. I live in Louisiana. I'm used to hills and turns," said Finch.

The Olympian trains in the morning before her three children-- 7, 2  and six months old-- are awake.

Of the three events, swimming was, at first, her weakness but "it's growing on me," said Finch.

The 13th annual Aquaphor New York City Triathlon is set for Sunday, July 14.

FOX 5  will air a highlight show on Sunday, July 28 at 2:30 p.m.

The person played The Associated Press a 12-second voicemail from an NFL office number on April 9 confirming the video arrived. A female voice expresses thanks and says: "You're right. It's terrible."

Comedian Richard Lewis and 'Curb Your Enthusiasm' creator Larry David go way back.  "We went to camp (as kids), hated him, never saw him again. I started at the Improv, no longer here, and he was a fan. I was drinking back then and I said 'I hate you.' We had a fistfight at a bar and we bonded. We love each other and yet we annoy each other," said Lewis. The pair was quite the comedic duo on the hit HBO show.
