DETROIT (WJBK) -

It was all caught on camera as three men set their sights on a brand new 2013 Buick Regal on Rossini on Detroit's east side.

"The camera alarms triggered that somebody was entering the driveway," said Joe Bragg.

That alert showed up on his cell phone.

"The person that's in the house, she was actually in there dialing 911 at the same time and had them on the phone while the guys were actually doing everything," Bragg said.

"She hollered at them. The first guy looked up and ran, and then the second guy told him no, come back."

"They end up breaking the water spout on the side of the house, and once they broke that out, they had real guts and went and got their van, pushed the car off the house, backed it back out the driveway and then turned the car at an angle that they couldn't get to, so they drove on the neighbor's grass to back the car up, pushed it backwards," Bragg further explained.

"Then he went across the street on other neighbor's grass, turned his van around, came back behind her car and just jammed it and just pushed the car all the way around the block."

Watch Andrea Isom's video report to see the surveillance footage.

The car was found stripped 30 minutes after police showed up.
