MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -

Two separate shootings occurred in Minneapolis between 11:15 p.m. Monday and 2:15 a.m. Tuesday.

FATAL DOUBLE SHOOTING

A double shooting left one man dead and another injured on the south side of Minneapolis on Monday night.

Two men were shot in a backyard near the 3600 block of Columbus Avenue South around 11:15 p.m. The man who survived was shot in the arm and is expected to recover.

Investigators are still searching for a suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call the Minneapolis police TIPS Line at 612-692-TIPS (8477).

SHOOTING NEAR TARGET FIELD

Minneapolis police are also investigating a shooting that occurred near Target Field and Target Center early Tuesday morning.

The shooting happened around 2:15 a.m. with multiple rounds found near 7th Street between the two event venues.

A victim was dropped off at the Minneapolis police station following the shooting and was brought to a nearby hospital. Police have not released any information regarding the victim's condition, suspects or arrests.
