DOYLESTOWN, Pa. -

Investigators say they found the guy behind a brutal stabbing near a Bucks County SEPTA stop.

Dale Michael Wakefield faces charges in the attack at the Doylestown station earlier this week.

The victim, George Mohr, was found early Wednesday morning. He had been stabbed more than 70 times.

Investigators say the suspect confessed to a friend, who called police.

Bucks County District Attorney David Heckler said Wakefield "had evidently been celebrating his coming of age, his 21st birthday, by drinking, although he was on probation supervision."

Wakefield is in Baltimore, facing extradition.

Mohr is in the hospital with head trauma. Relatives say he was a veteran and Villanova University graduate.
