A hamlet in Long Island is the home to a new display of sculptures. Some find it creepy, others say it's cool.
Artist David Byer Tyre created the statues that live near the center of New Cassel, New York, a quiet town on Long Island. He says art is supposed to create conversation.
WNYW reporter got mixed reactions from residents. The sculptures were funded by a $120K grant. The statues are part of one of three phases expected to be completed by the end of summer.
