Rodman wants Nobel Prize for N. Korea 'peacemaking' trip

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Former Chicago Bull Dennis Rodman thinks he should be in the running for a Nobel Peace Prize following his meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un earlier this year.

Rodman made a highly publicized trip to North Korea in February where he and Kim bonded over a shared love for basketball.

Afterward, Rodman was quoted as calling Kim a "friend for life."

Rodman says he sees himself as a peacemaker and he deserves a prize.

Rodman says he's planning a return trip to North Korea next month and may go on vacation with Kim and his family.
