weather forecast by Keith Marler, meteorologist - email
MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -
A warm front cruises through the area Tuesday, pushing high temperatures into the 80s that will feel like 90s in our steamy atmosphere.
The warm front will help spark thunderstorms Tuesday afternoon and evening across South Dakota, Iowa and southwestern Minnesota. These storms should then march across the Twin Cities through the late afternoon, evening and overnight hours.
WHAT TO WATCH FOR
- Primary threat: large hail
- Heavy rainfall and flash-flooding. Even a half-inch of rain could cause flooding issues with our very saturated ground.
