Posted: Updated:

Today is National Dine Out Day!

Over 2,000 restaurants are participating and locally, the funds raise will go to support Hurricane Sandy victims and relief efforts.

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and his wife, Mary Pat Christie are urging everyone to get out today and eat at restaurants participating in this program.

This morning, Mary Pat was our guest on Good Day.

She talked about which local chains are participating (Carrabas and Benihana.)

She also revealed she is actually a Philly girl at heart, having grown up in Paoli.

She loves the Eagles and Phillies.  Governor Christie? He is a Mets fan (sigh.)

His favorite football team?  The Dallas Cowboys!  WHOA!

Take look at this great interview and make sure you do NOT cook today - go eat out!
