Police Arrest Man Wanted In Bensalem Stabbing

Bensalem police have arrested the suspect wanted for stabbing a man during a vehicle break-in. This was after investigators released a series of photos of the suspect in the afternoon to aid in his capture.

45-year old Michael Bell, a homeless male, has been charged with aggravated assault ,weapons offenses and related charges for the assault and stabbing of a 33 yr. old male from Bensalem.

It all happened on Monday when the suspect was observed trying to break into vehicle in the area of Street and Mechanicsville Roads.

The victim approached the suspect and was stabbed in the abdomen, police said.

The male suspect was last seen running through the Giant Shopping Center.

The suspect is described as a male of unknown age who was last seen wearing a white with red pinstripes "Brooklyn" jersey, red pants, black sneakers and a black hat.

The victim is being treated at a local hospital and is listed in stable condition.
