Minneapolis police are investigating a deadly shooting on Chicago Avenue South just after midnight on Monday.
Officers were called to the 3500 block of Chicago Avenue South around 12:17 a.m. where they found a man suffering an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead, Minneapolis police said.
A Hennepin County medical examiner identified the man as 35-year-old Daniel Dwayne Maniece of Jordan, Minn. He died as a result of a gunshot wound of the chest.
No arrests have been made, and there is limited suspect information available, but investigators will continue to investigate.
