The Chisholm, Minn. police chief said investigators have followed about 2,000 leads in the ten years since the disappearance of 5-year-old LeeAnna Warner – an investigation that is still very open.
"Nobody here has forgotten," Chief Vern Manner told the Duluth News Tribune.
Warner, a brown-eyed, brown-haired girl many call "Beaner," was headed to a friend's house in her neighborhood on June 14, 2003 when she disappeared.
A decade later, the family is still living with its grief, and police want to make it clear they are never giving up.
"Someday someone is going to come forward with something that leads us to her," Manner said.
