NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

A Long Island man who brought his infant daughter to work with him is now behind bars, police said. His job was selling heroin, according to cops.

Suffolk County detectives conducting surveillance in Central Islip on Thursday said they watched Tyreek Langs, 23, come out of a home with his 8-month-old daughter in his arms, walk down the street, and sell heroin to a waiting buyer on the corner, the authorities said.

The detectives immediately arrested Langs, police said. They said they found heroin on him.

Authorities charged Langs with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and endangering the welfare of a child.

He is set to be arraigned at First District Court on Friday.
