How to make the most of credit card points

As we close in on summer, we are all dreaming of a summer vacation. But how can you make it affordable?

One way is by using those credit card points and miles you've accumulated over the year. But between blackout days and expiration dates using your points can be a complicated maze.

Brian Kelly, the founder of The Points Guy, shared some advice during GDNY.

Maryland Live! is holding job fairs next week at the Sheraton hotel across from the Atlantic City Convention Center. The Hanover, Maryland casino held a similar recruitment effort in January when The Atlantic Club shut down.

Dunkin' Brands CEO Nigel Travis said in a phone interview Thursday that the company is pushing to get its cashiers to "upsell" to afternoon customers. It's part of an effort to increase sales after stores have emptied out after the morning rush.
