CAFFEINE WITHDRAWAL: A mental diagnosis?

Caffeine withdrawal can now be considered a mental health diagnosis according to the American Psychiatric Association.

This classification has been met with dissent, but some individuals truly cannot function normally without their daily dose of java.

Many of us don't feel great without our daily dose of coffee in the morning, but what's the difference between needing your coffee and having actual withdrawal?

Symptoms can include headache, fatigue, irritability difficulty concentration and flu symptoms.

Many doctors say one to two cups a day is harmless, but FOX 9 medical expert Dr. Archelle Georgiou uncovers the facts surrounding caffeine addiction.
