WINSTED, Minn. (KMSP) -

A former Army paratrooper who served in World War II celebrated his 90th birthday in an appropriate manner: Jumping from an airplane.

Carl Morris of Cokato, Minn. first jumped in Okinawa, Japan in 1946.

"I've done crazy things before, but this takes the cake," Morris said of his birthday jump.

On Monday, four generations of his family went to West Side Skydive in Winsted, Minn. to cheer him on as he leapt from an airplane for the first time in ten years. Naturally, he celebrated his 80th in the same fashion.
