Police called after man brings pony in RI liquor store

Posted: Updated:

WARREN, R.I. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A pony brought police to a Rhode Island liquor store.

William Saviano walked into Patriot's Liquors in Warren Monday with the animal. Saviano stopped in the store to buy some wine after he and the pony had taken part in a show for children.

Store employees ended up calling police because the pony made a mess and Saviano refused to clean it up. That's when officers got involved.

The officers did eventually get Saviano to clean up after the pony.

The owner of Patriot's Liquors decided not to press charges.
