It's been a hectic week for Norcal Tea Party, a group based in Colfax that filed a class-action lawsuit against the IRS on Monday.

Coordinator Ginny Rapini says the group's constitutional rights were violated by the IRS, which she says buried them in paperwork for three years as the group sought tax-exempt status.

Rapini says she's been receiving calls all week from national groups that want to join the fight against the IRS, which admitted targeting conservative groups. But she says there's also been negative fallout.

"We've received hateful emails and death threats, which we've turned over to the sheriff's department," she says. "But even more troubling, some of our members say they're now afraid of being affiliated with us. They're afraid the IRS will come after them."

FOX 11 investigative producer Heidi Cuda has this report.

Of all the world's religions, Buddhism is one of the most mysterious and most intriguing to many Americans. The books The Dharma Bums, Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance and even If You Meet the Buddha on the Road, Kill Him!, are all examples of how Buddhist concepts are part of the American cultural landscape.
