AAA Minneapolis is extending its roadside services to the city's two-wheeled travelers: Bicyclists.
Bicyclists experiencing problems on the road can call AAA starting July 1 as part of the company's services offerings within accessible streets in Hennepin County. There is no additional charged tacked on to roadside bike assistance.
Upon calling, a AAA service vehicle will be dispatched to the location and transportation for the rider and broken-down bicycle will be provided to any point within the covered distance of the cyclist's membership.
Transportation service is provided only for the AAA member whose bicycle is disabled or inoperable. Services applies to all bicycles, including rentals, bicycle trailers and tandems.
