Police are looking for a 21-year-old Montgomery County student who went missing on his way home from the University of Rhode Island.

Matthew Royer left his college apartment Thursday to head home to Collegeville. He was due back early Friday morning but never made it.

Royer was last spotted driving through Lehigh County.

His cell phone was picked up near Allentown, and a camera from a gas station in Coopersburg recorded him driving past the station early Friday morning.

At some point, he made a purchase at a Sunoco station near Route 100 in Breiningsville.

Royer's car is described as a silver, 2008 Chevy Cobalt with a Pennsylvania license plate number of GXR9059.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Pennsylvania State Police, Skippack at 610-584-1250.
