An exercise regime is spreading across the country that focuses on alleviating chronic pain by using the connective tissue of the body.

"When pain becomes chronic, it's an issue in your connective tissue. Food and exercise are not the solution. (The Melt Method) is about restoring the body back to a fluid state. When connective tissue is dehydrated, it's not so supportive. Melt gets that resilience back in the body," said creator Sue Hitzmann.

The Melth Method incorporates soft rollers and soft balls.

"It doesn't matter if your sedentary or an athlete you need to know how to hydrate connective tissue. It really is the missing link to living a pain free lifestyle," said Hitzmann.
