JACKSON TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) -- Authorities have charged a Delaware man with sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl during a class trip to a New Jersey amusement park.

Police say Glen San-Andreas, 34, of Wilmington, Del., is held on $150,000 bail and is awaiting extradition to New Jersey. He's charged with second-degree sexual assault and child endangerment.

Jackson Police Lt. Steven Laskiewicz tells The Star-Ledger of Newark, N.J., San-Andreas was a parental chaperone on an April 27 trip to Six Flags Great Adventure.

Police say San-Andreas took the girl to a secluded area of the park and assaulted her.

Delaware State Police contacted Jackson police on May 7.
