Surveillance Video Of Mother's Day Parade Shooting Released

Police are vowing to find the gunmen responsible for the Mother's Day parade shooting in New Orleans.

Authorities released surveillance footage of the scene on Monday. 

Revelers are seen fleeing and some fall down as they appear to run from a man wearing a white T-shirt. He then turns around and runs out of view of the camera.

Police are hoping someone might recognize the man, who is now considered a suspect.

Some 400 people came out to celebrate Mother's Day about a mile and a half from the city's famous French Quarter.

Nineteen people sustained injuries in the shooting, including two children.

Most were grazed by bullets. but three people were seriously injured.

Residents say they can't believe something like this would happen on a holiday.

This is the third high-profile shooting surrounding a holiday in New Orleans this year.

Five people were injured in a drive-by shooting following a Martin Luther King Jr. Day parade in January.

And four people were shot in February during celebrations ahead of Mardi Gras Fox's Jamie Colby reported.
