Fundraiser held in Nashua for bombing victim Bauman

NASHUA, N.H. ( — A fundraiser was held for Marathon victim Jeff Bauman Saturday, one day after he was released from the hospital.

The event, held at Tulley Automotive in Nashua, featured live music and a raffle. Autographed New England Patriots paraphernalia was included in the raffle.

Bauman, a Chelmsford, Mass. resident, works at a Costco store near where the event was held.

Bauman's picture was broadcast worldwide after the April 15 attacks that killed three people and injured over 260. Both of Bauman's legs required amputation. When he awoke from surgery, he described the man he saw drop a backpack at his feet. That man was later identified as alleged marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev.
