'Strides for Stroke' drives awareness

Posted: Updated:

It's a health issue that doesn't get near the attention that other causes do, but strokes are the number one cause of death and disability in the United States.

Here in Minnesota, over 90,000 people live with the consequences of a stroke, which has prompted advocates to organize the yearly "Strides for Stroke" walk, which raises money to help those who are living with the effects of stroke.

There are always inspirational stories we hear that make this issue really hit home, one of those is the story Riana and Mason Hansen. The pair joined Jeff Passolt to talk about how a stroke changed their lives.
