PHILADELPHIA -

A 20-year-old and an 18-year-old were charged in connection to a triple shooting that left a high school student dead earlier this month.

According to police, Jaquan Jordan, 20, and Stanley Postell, 18, were charged in connection to the death of 17-year-old Bernard Scott. Scott was a student at Overbrook High School.

According to police, Scott was pronounced dead at Lankenau Hospital on April 11 after he was shot multiple times. Police say two other victims were injured, a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old in the shooting.

Police say Jordan was arrested the day of the shooting on a Weapons Violation charge. Postell was arrested two days later, on April 13, also on a Weapons Violations charge.

On Monday, police say charges for Jordan were upgraded to murder in connection to Scott's death. Last week, police upgraded the charges to murder for Postell.

In the shooting, police say the 17-year-old victim was shot in the hip and rushed to The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in critical condition. The third victim was shot in the back and taken to HUP in stable condition.
