'Art in Bloom' exhibit blossoms with spring beauty
With the spring we've been having, the Minneapolis Institute of Art (MIA) exhibit, ‘Art in Bloom,' has never been more popular.
This event lets designers choose a painting or work of art around MIA, and then do a floral arrangement based on it for beautiful results.
The idea first came from the same exhibit in Boston over 30 years ago. In its infancy, MIA's version of the event only brought a few florists, but now, 160 florists and almost 20 commercial artists participated.
Visit the Minneapolis Institute of Art through Sunday for a closer look at the blossoming arrangements.
