The X Factor auditions at Nassau Coliseum extended

Posted: Updated:
NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Auditions for season three of the singing competition The X Factor have been extended through Friday at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Auditions got underway on Thursday.

The wait is over for the next batch of singing hopefuls and their chance at stardom.

The lines had been long since earlier this week, as aspiring singers were required to pick up a wrist band at the Coliseum before auditioning.

A group or a solo singer of any age is eligible for the one-day audition.

"No matter how many people turn out, every single person is seen through the audition process," said Simon Cowell.

The hit singing competition airs on FOX 5.

You can also audition online at TheXFactorUSA.com.
