ROCKFORD, Minn. (KMSP) -

The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension issued an alert on Tuesday asking the public to help locate a missing 26-year-old man from Rockford, Minn.

According to the Wright County Sheriff's Office, Samuel Adam Scherna Gustafson was last seen on April 21 at about 3 a.m. when he left a home in the 200 block of Beach Drive in Rockford on foot.

Due to the weather and an out-of-character lack of contact with family, authorities say they are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.

Gustafson is described as being 6 feet tall, weighing 190 pounds with green eyes, brown hair and a beard. He may be wearing a gray, hooded sweatshirt and brown pants.

Anyone with information on Gustafson's whereabouts is urged to contact either the Wright County Sheriff's Office at 763-682-7600 or local law enforcement through 911.
