The Wild will play their biggest game of the year tonight when they face the Los Angeles Kings at Xcel Energy Center. Losers of five straight at home, the Wild are scratching, clawing and even eye gauging trying to hold onto their playoff hopes.
With three games remaining, the Wild need two wins. Friday night they host Edmonton before heading on the road to face Colorado Saturday in the season finale.
The Wild sent rookies Jason Zucker and Mikael Granlund to Houston and recalled Stephane Vellieux and Jake Dowell to give the team a little more grit.
Cal Clutterbuck will move up to the second line alongside of Matt Cullen and Devin Setoguchi and immediately Mike Yeo said Clutterbuck would understand what his role is. Which is be physical and dig for pucks.
