Draft day is two days away. Yesterday we looked at receivers the Vikings could look at. Inside linebacker is another position of need that the team will have to address this weekend.
Manti Te'o (Notre Dame)
Several draft projections have the Vikings taking the linebacker from Notre Dame. Te'o has bounced between a late-first and second round pick, but with the Vikings in need of a man in the middle, and the fact he played college ball at Notre Dame, Te'o might be the guy with either 23 or 25.
Kevin Minter (LSU)
A second round projection, Minter is athletic, but slightly undersized. He is touted as a cerebral defender with good instincts to the ball.
Kiko Alonso (Oregon)
Alonso, a third round projection has a good nose for the ball but according to some experts might be more of an outside guy. Has some past off the field issues.
A.J. Klein (Iowa State)
Klein projects as a third to fourth round pick and has good breakdown skills. According to scouts, Klein reads and reacts well and possesses better than average speed.
Kevin Reddick (North Carolina)
A fourth to fifth round projection, Reddick was used as a blitzer for the Tar Heels according to scouts but was impressive attacking downhill.
