Amy Yasbeck: Who Knew It Was Going To Be Such A Hit!

Posted: Updated:

Amy Yasbeck taught Steve everything he knows about "webisodes"...according to Amy Yasbeck! The actress stopped by Good Day LA Monday morning and talked about the second season of "Little Women, Big Cars", her AOL comedy.

Amy talked about how her character is organized, an overachiever, a multi tasker and nothing like her in real life! Amy also talked about how it's great to do a show with your real life friends. She also had a playful warning for Maria about "her man" Steve and even told her about their "secret handshake". Maria even stops the show to tell Amy and Steve she said something funny and they didn't hear it. Was it? You be the judge.

Fun facts about Amy:

  • Her father was of Lebanese descent, while her mother was of Irish ancestry.
  • Yasbeck is the widow of actor John Ritter, with whom she had worked in several projects.
  • Yasbeck and Ritter also starred together in Problem Child 2 (1991) and guest-starred together in an episode of The Cosby Show which aired in 1991. Ritter also guest-starred on Wings as Yasbeck's estranged husband in the season seven episode "Love Overboard".

Born and raised in Liverpool, signed by an inexperienced agent named Brian Epstein, hustled into the studio with a genius producer named George Martin...and out of that session came a hit song called "Do You Want To Know A Secret." Now here's the twist…we're not talking about The Beatles.
