SHAKOPEE SHOOTING: High school student dead, 2 others wounded

SHAKOPEE, Minn. (KMSP) -

Shakopee police said an arrest has been made in a triple shooting left a high school student dead and two others wounded late Thursday night on Gorman Street.

Police were called to the 600 block of Gorman Street at 10:44 p.m. When they arrived, they found three gunshot victims.

Marcos Antino Pantaleon, a 19-year-old Shakopee High School student, was pronounced dead at the scene. The two others -- a 22-year-old man and 17-year-old man -- were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center.

"Everyone in our school district and especially at Shakopee High School is deeply saddened by this news. Our thoughts and heartfelt sympathy go to Marcos' family, friends and loved ones," said school district superintendent Dr. Rod Thompson. "We have our support staff available at the high school and they are ready to help any staff members or students."

Friday afternoon, Shakopee police said one suspect has been arrested and is identified as 27-year-old Steven Andre Moore of Minneapolis. Investigators are actively following up on all leads on two other suspects.
