Spring newborns are arriving at SEA Life Minnesota Aquarium at Mall of America, proving that even the most stubborn of winters can still produce vitality and baby fins.
Aquarium curator Carly Burns brought a few residents into the FOX9 studio to share with viewers.
Sharks, stingrays and jellyfish have all been born into the Aquarium this spring, as well as baby Cuttlefish that are now on display. SEA Life Minnesota tends to the newborn creatures to ensure they receive proper nutrition and safety and perform on-site surgery when necessary.
The Minnesota Timberwolves also helped unveil a new Octopus Garden exhibit in late January, naming one of the residents after forward Kevin Love. New eight-legged additions were born to the exhibit this spring.
