MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -

A former Minneapolis man who has been terrorizing women throughout his life has pleaded guilty to second-degree intentional murder charges in the death of his girlfriend.

Two months ago, the FOX 9 Investigators exposed 26-year-old Scott Youngmark's history of domestic violence that affected 18 victims in all.

Over the years, Youngmark has been accused of beating, threatening and trying to burn women, but prosecutors repeatedly dropped charges against him because the victims were often too afraid to testify.

Last winter, police in Milltown, Wis., arrested Youngmark after he beat Kari Roberts to death. At first, he blamed someone else, but on Tuesday, he pled guilty to the crime.

Youngmark faces up to 40 years in prison. He will be sentenced in June.
