Terry Crews: My Business Has Been Repeat Business

Terry Crews was an NFL football player for seven years.  He was drafted by the Rams back when they played in Los Angeles.  He also played San Diego Chargers, the Washington Redskins and the Philadelphia Eagles.  After retiring from the NFL in 1997, Crews pursued an acting career.  His movies include Battle Dome, which was modeled after American Gladiators, White Chicks and The Longest Yard.   On TV, he's best known for his Old Spice commercials and his role as the Dad on "Everybody Hates Chris."

Now, Crews is in "Scary Movie 5," which he talks about on Good Day L.A. with Steve Edwards and Maria Sansone.

  • Earned an Art Excellence Scholarship to attend Interlochen Center for the Arts and Western Michigan University
  • Was drafted by the Los Angeles Rams in 1991
  • Went on to play for the following NFL teams: Chargers, Redskins and Eagles
  • He's best known for playing "Julius" on the sitcom "Everybody Hates Chris" and starring in Old Spice commercials
  • He stars in the TBS sitcom "Are We There Yet?" and on BET's "The Family Crews"
  • Married for 22 years and has four daughters and one son
