ROYAL OAK, Mich. (WJBK) -

Police believe they've caught the man suspected in a string of bank robberies across Oakland County.

Dash cam video released Wednesday shows police pursuing the suspect following an armed robbery at the TCF Bank located on the 1800 block of Crooks in Royal Oak.

Police say an employee triggered the alarm, alerting authorities who were already in he area on another call. At one point police rammed the back of the suspect's vehicle but he still did not stop.

The chased ended at 11 Mile Road near Greenfield when a policeman intentionally crashed into the suspect's vehicle.

Police say some of the money was recovered, but they're not saying how much. They believe the suspect may have been involved in seven other bank robberies dating back to December.
