Tripp Halstead is back home!  A picture posted on Tripp's Facebook page showed the 2-year-old Winder boy strapped in his car seat headed home on Tuesday.

Tripp was critically hurt when a tree limb fell on him outside his Winder day care center in October. More than 450,000 people have liked Tripp's Facebook page since he suffered an injury ever since his injury.

"We have been through some really heartbreaking moments and some really great moments, today is one of those great moments," wrote Tripp's mother, Stacy Halstead, after they arrived home on Tuesday.

He first went home on March 29, but was rushed back to the hospital three days later. He had his gall bladder removed on April 5.

Stacy Halstead posted that he has been doing well since that surgery.

"His heart rate is good, breathing is good, his big ole incision looks good. I am a happy mommy," Stacy Halstead wrote on Tuesday.
