Missing 92-Year Old Olympic Gold Medalist Found

Posted: Updated:

(FOX 11 / AP) Two-time Olympic gold medalist Sammy Lee has been found more than 24 hours after he went missing from his Huntington Beach home.

News Media outlets report the 92-year-old champion platform diver left his Huntington Beach home Monday afternoon and traveled to Mojave and Studio City before being found by authorities in Pico Rivera on Tuesday night.

Lee, who suffers from dementia, left his home to go to a sports club in Fountain Valley, as he often does.

Police say Lee then drove his Mercedes with a license plate that says "2 Golds" to Mojave, where he refueled at about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. His credit card purchases were then traced to another gas station at 5:30 p.m. in Studio City.

Lee won gold at the 1948 and 1952 games.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

It's no secret that Microsoft has struggled in the hardware department so I can't say whether the Surface Pro 3 will be the hero Microsoft needs but I can say it is the modern computing experience users deserve. I love it and think you should too! Read on to find out why.
