MINNEAPOLIS (KMSP) -

The U.S. Marshals Service, District of Minnesota, issued a press release asking the public to help locate the two men who escaped from a low-security federal prison camp in Duluth, Minn.

The prison camp is on the former Duluth Air Force Base north of the city. U.S. Marshal Service spokesman Thomas Volk said prisoners there are "on the honor system" instead of having locked cells.

Michael Krzyzaniak is serving a 12-year sentence for bilking investors out of nearly $26 million.

Gerald Greenfield is serving a 4-year sentence for conspiracy to commit money laundering in a $2.5 million mortgage fraud scheme.

United States Marshal Sharon Lubinski asks that information regarding their whereabouts be reported to the US Marshals Service tip line at: 612-664-5971.
