A 42-year-old man was arrested for allegedly driving drunk with his three children in a truck on Sunday.
Mohave County Sheriff's deputies attempted to pull Odin Staffan Thunstrom over for a traffic stop after he was seen driving past a road closure area.
When Thunstrom eventually stopped, deputies say they smelled alcohol on him. Thunstrom allegedly told deputies he drank alcohol the night before.
Deputies say three children, ages 11, 8 and 7, were also inside the truck.
Thunstrom was taken into custody after a field sobriety test and the children were given to a relative.
Thunstrom was found to have a .221 BAC and was booked into jail.
He faces charges of aggravated DUI (with a child), aggravated DUI (with a child) with a blood alcohol concentration over .08%, aggravated extreme DUI (with a child) with a blood alcohol concentration over .15% and aggravated super extreme DUI (with a child) with a blood alcohol concentration over .20%, felonies, along with driving with a suspended license.
