PHILADELPHIA -

Police announced on Wednesday the arrest of a suspect for a shooting that took place in December in front of a 5-year-old.

Janmir Harris was arrested on Sunday for a homicide that occurred in Girard Estates, police said. Harris was the suspect in a shooting that happened December 23rd, 2012 at an Oregon Avenue Walgreens.

In that shooting, police say a 45-year-old man and a 5-year-old child were in their parked car in the Walgreen's lot on the 2300 block of Oregon Avenue. While there, another vehicle drove up and a then an unknown man got out of the car.

Police say he pulled out a handgun and fired several shots. The 45-year-old was struck multiple times but the child was not hurt.

Police said Harris became a suspect during the investigation after a witness identified him. He now faces murder and other related charges.

    NICE EASTER WEEKEND

The first half of the holiday weekend has been great and Easter Sunday looks just as nice. Clouds thin out late tonight with temperatures falling back to the 40s.

Initially it'll be jacket weather early Sunday morning but plenty of sunshine will warm us into the 60s by afternoon.  High temperatures will be a few degrees cooler than Saturday.

It will be noticeably cooler and breezy at the shore with highs in the low 50s.  Quiet conditions continue into Monday.
