Two students from Wayzata High School were injured on Monday after they were struck by a school bus while they were jogging with their track and field teammates in Plymouth.

PLYMOUTH, Minn. (KMSP) -
The Wayzata High School track runner who was struck by a school bus while jogging in a crosswalk with his teammates is recovering at North Memorial Hospital.
Alex O'Connell was running on Vicksburg Lane in Plymouth on Monday afternoon when he and another student were hit.
The second student was treated at the scene, but O'Connell -- a 9th grader -- had to be hospitalized.
He is now listed in fair condition and is expected to remain in the hospital for a few more days.
The accident remains under investigation.
District officials told FOX 9 News they contract with First Student for busing. The company is also investigating.
