A very different kind of racing is coming to Atlanta. Global RallyCross has been around almost 50 years, but debuted at the X-Games just three years ago.
President Ed Clark announced on Tuesday that the first Global RallyCross Race will be held at Atlanta Motor Speedway on August 10.
The racing is a combination of what you see from circuit, off-road and rally events, meaning you'll have some dirt and asphalt, a lot of drifting, plus some jumping off ramps and going through water.
