PHOENIX -

With so many cars on the road in Arizona and so many looks for state license plates, a bill is moving through the legislature to change those specialty plates.

Police say the numbers on many of the 33 specialty plates can be difficult to see, so lawmakers want to require a standardized plate with only a 3 inch square area, dedicated to showcasing the group's design and logo.

The bill has already won state Senate approval and its next stop is a full vote of the Arizona House.
