More than 1,000 screaming fans lined up early at Mall of America for the grand opening of the Minneapolis 1D World Store.
Fun facts surrounding the opening:
• The first fans arrived yesterday afternoon at 3:00pm, and slept outside overnight to hold their place in line
• The first 50 fans in the store were surprised with One Direction t-shirts, and the 50th and 100th shoppers won $100 shopping sprees
• The first life-size One Direction cut out to sell out was Louis
• The most popular item sold was the adult onesie
The store will be open through April 28.
